Deep into North Park residential there are frequently scooters laying around in the curbs and sidewalks for days and kids flying down the sidewalks. Good luck in making it better.

Where are the reports for Park Blvd North of University- zero refuses to be transparent- no CEQA, no data provided and the plans are not feasible due to flooding and property damage. Zero reports for ADA safety and we live in a 30% Senior community

I'm still waiting for the re-routed bike lane that Paul Krueger promised last time he killed a planned bike route. Please move forward, we know there is no “alternative” once the parking lobby kills these projects.

Business are super important to consider in the most narrow park of Park. We already know what no parking has done to 30th. street, University is now feeling the same. Do not do it to Park

I'm not part of the parking lobby as you call them. I've worked for years on Balboa Park parking and circulation... and blithe comments like "charge for parking" shows little regard for the complexity in the park.
Why can parks and zoos across the country charge for parking, but Balboa Park/Zoo can’t?
I have seen many bike riders in the bus lane currently and they see to co exist perfectly fine. Also Georgia, Florida and Cleveland already have bike ways that can safely promote cycling

Paul, because this is San Diego. You lead that effort to charge for parking. It's been brought up for years and regularly, it's open warfare and the politicos back down.

Renee, perhaps if you had mentioned bikes *once* in your report... it seems to live in a 1970s cars-only world where climate change doesn't exist.
@ Nicole I have requested this exact thing and zero acknowledgement from the City to walk ride the Blvd. Also over 1,500 petition signatures with zero effort for people wanting transparency and communication. I love biking but know the street is unsafe as the plans you have designed today
21 out of 27 recommendations to *increase* parking, as city and state explicitly state VMT reductions.
BTW, currently there is over $300 million dollars in infrastructure backlog … charge for parking but keep the money in the park … it's the only hope for paid parking. So, Paul, we purposely had to limit the discussion to cars. That's why the framework for the future was slated to do the heavy lifting … stop poking those who are trying their best to thread that needle. it's easy to take pot shots … maybe become part of the solution?

When will the gap be fixed of re-striping the intersection of Park and El Cajon 3 accidents last week 1 more this week. Near misses of cars vs MTS since there are zero signs and stripes
Thanks Rene. I'm frustrated that Comiskey rejected *every* option the city presented for Park Blvd (on KPBS report), citing the need for a "comprehensive plan”, when the Park’s comprehensive plan is cars only.
Attendance is what keeps the park open and feeding animals and employing people. A money maker for the city but I do think paid parking in the lots is a good idea.

Kids walk in the intersections of Park with zero stop signs and crosswalks North of Meade. Saw a cyclist run a sign and almost hit a kid

Yes, but Peter C's name was on it, so that seemed like the closest thing to a comprehensive plan the Park has presented.
He was just one volunteer contributor among many. There were three of us who authored the report. Jack Carpenter, Roger Showley and myself.
